~ selfie ~

Maybe one of the worse weeks to have to keep bailing on class, but we're rolling with it.
I'm at kind of a standstill with what I even think I want this to be. Here are some ideas I decided 'no' to because I realized I have to be an adult: 1966 batman language, feels like a clean pair of socks, old postcards from places i've been with hand lettering and words i've written (nostalgic + academic concentration), hand drawn map of where i've been, ali stickers (never could find them, so everyone should have them), 'free' dreams of mine (study astrology, read palms, not be allergic to my cat, own more than one pair of high waisted jean shorts, stop owning so many norts)

SO after that realization I had to scrap some previous ideas. Now I'm a little torn between continuing the path of my type ID, and combining this cursivey hand drawn element with blocky text. Pretty much Frosty Fox+Porz. ++++ cool. I've got a few pages filled with a's and different ways to block off my name. I'm nervous that it looks like a combination of the Frosty Fox and Porz, and that's kind of a problem since those are some portfolio pieces.
I'd like the color scheme to be black and white with one additional color, maybe a burnt yellow.
Possible typefaces: bell gothic + hand, helvetica + bodoni, sabon + brandon grotesque

Portfolio wise, I'm a little confused about what I should do. Needless to say they (Frosty Fox, Porz, Ender) all need to be touched up, but the other three I was planning on including were the Trier magazine, Jeremy's branding project, and the museum exhibition project/class. I know to create placeholder pages, but especially for the museum I'm not sure what that includes.

That's it. It's been a lot of me running around in my head about who I am as a designer, what I like v. what I'm good at, and combining all of it. And so without further ado... here

resume. need to better incorporated the 'a' with 'ali fisher'

letterhead.
